Forgotten Paradises – Author's Print on Canvas

Forgotten Paradises – Author's Print on Canvas

A horizon that reshapes the room.

Forgotten Paradises is conceived as an open threshold rather than a simple image. Designed for large-scale formats, this panoramic work by Elena Fontanesi transforms the wall into an expansive landscape of wind, light, and distant memory.

The eye is drawn to what the artist calls “the colours of the wind”: palms bent in motion, waves breaking with luminous force, and a trembling light suspended between sky and earth. The composition extends laterally, amplifying the sensation of space and inviting the viewer into an endless horizon.

A panoramic Fine Art print that does not decorate — it redefines the architecture of the room.

ℹ️ NOTE ON PRESENTATION:
The artwork is supplied as a Fine Art print on matte canvas mounted flush on MDF (exposed edges, approx. 1 cm thick).
The dynamic brushwork and textured painterly effects of the original are faithfully reproduced photographically in high definition. The rigid support enhances visual depth and ensures long-term stability.

Upon request: unmounted canvas prints, framed versions, and custom panoramic formats are available. Please contact us prior to ordering to determine the most suitable solution.

Dynamic landscape.

The panoramic structure enhances the breadth of the horizon. In the foreground, palms rendered in warm earth tones bend toward the right, creating directional movement shaped by wind. The sea, built through energetic white and blue strokes, contrasts with the ochre shoreline.

On the distant right, a stilted structure introduces a subtle human trace — remote, perhaps abandoned — reinforcing the theme of memory suspended between presence and absence.
