This work from the “Italian Perspectives” series by Fatti d’Arte Studio quite literally opens a window onto one of the city’s most evocative and unexpected corners: the celebrated Finestrella of Via Piella. The composition captures the Canale delle Moline flowing quietly between warm-toned buildings, revealing a watery fragment of history often overlooked.

The orange frame and open shutters are painted directly within the artwork, creating a refined trompe-l'œil illusion. The result is the sensation of inhabiting this intimate, romantic view. The pronounced palette-knife texture (impasto effect) brings vitality to the water’s reflections and to the aged surfaces of the surrounding walls.
