Nahla – Asymmetrical Sculpture Vase “Nature’s Play” – Dar al Fannan
Nahla – Asymmetrical Sculpture Vase “Nature’s Play” – Dar al Fannan
The lightness of a springtime game.
Nahla is a sculptural vase from the Dar al Fannan collection, distinguished by its joyful spirit and spontaneous originality. Its name, which can be interpreted as “spring” or “freshness”, evokes a narrative of nature that is lively, gentle and playful.
The form is asymmetrical and slender, with a profile recalling a soft wave or a flickering flame. Upon this surface—available in Powder Pink or Aqua Green—a whimsical scene comes to life: two stylised birds with spiral bodies, symbols of vitality, lift their gaze toward dragonflies dancing in the air. At the base, flowing lines suggest water or grass moved by the breeze.
Entirely handcrafted and hand-painted, each vase is a unique piece. Lines, tonal nuances and decorative rhythms may vary subtly from one example to another. The vase you receive will preserve the same aesthetic language, colour palette and artisanal quality shown in the images, while expressing its own individual character.
Nahla is a piece that naturally invites a smile—ideal for a child’s room, a creative environment, or any space where a sense of lightness, optimism and gentle imagination is welcome.
