“Ravenna. The Valleys: Capanno Garibaldi and Surroundings” is a pictorial tribute to one of the most evocative places in Romagna. Created in 2011 using mixed media (oil and acrylic), the painting portrays the quiet atmosphere of the Ravenna Valleys, with their characteristic fishing huts on stilts and moored boats. At the center of the scene, the Italian tricolour stands out, marking the historic “Capanno Garibaldi,” refuge of the Hero of the Two Worlds. The blue frame with gold detailing echoes the reflections of the water, completing the work with refined elegance.
