Seas: Mermaid and the Others unfolds as a layered marine narrative. Originally created in mixed media on shaped plywood, the work conceives the frame not as a boundary but as an extension of the story itself.
This Fine Art canvas print preserves the integrity of the full composition: a central “painting within the painting,” animated by mythological figures and sea creatures, floats within a vast, deep oceanic blue. Coral branches emerge from the lower edge, dissolving the separation between inner scene and surrounding space.

Print Description
The composition operates on two visual planes: the central “picture within a picture,” dense with mythic imagery — the violet mermaid, golden seahorse, vivid fish — and the surrounding negative space of deep, uniform blue.
This oceanic void is interrupted only by red-orange coral branches that connect inner and outer planes, creating a suspended sensation of buoyancy. The result is a contemporary marine Wunderkammer: intimate, intricate, and contemplative.
