Tariq – Monumental Sculpture Vase “Morning Star” – Dar al Fannan

Tariq is the pinnacle of the Dar al Fannan collection. Standing 57 cm tall, this vase is not a mere accessory, but an imposing sculpture that dominates the space. Its name, which evokes the "Morning Star" or the one who guides the path, is reflected in the vertical decoration.

On the slender surface stands a towering tree, perhaps a cypress or a desert cottonwood, stretching almost endlessly to touch a pale sun suspended in the sky. At the base, rolling dunes and ancient ruins anchor the scene to the earth, creating a poetic contrast between the solidity of the ground and the aspiration to the sky.
